Today, the EPA has announced final regulations on six different PFAS species (PFOA, PFOS, PFHxS, PFNA, HFPO-DA/GenX, and PFBS) in drinking water.
The rule sets enforceable levels for these PFAS in drinking water. Water systems will now be required to begin monitoring PFAS, and must publicly disclose PFAS levels beginning in 2027.
