We’re sending our very best wishes to Dr. Christian White as he leaves the lab for his new postdoctoral role at Argonne National Lab. Christian’s PhD research explored the genomics and community roles underlying anaerobic ammonium oxidation and associated nitrogen cycle pathways; the results offer significant contributions to both fundamental microbial ecology and applied water treatment systems. (Some of these results can be found in his recent publication on synergistic interactions in an anammox bioreactor.) We will miss you, Christian, and can’t wait to see your newest research soon!
